Yellowstone

It might just be me playing a PC game called WolfQuest too much, but I was inspired
to be the first to post a role-play topic here. It's just going to be a simple, public
role-play that anybody can join into if they want. The story will take place in Yellowstone National
park, and will mainly focus on gray wolf characters though there can be others, too, since Yellowstone
does have other wild animals in it. This will be for anybody who enjoys the natural behavior of wild
animals but your characters will be able to talk and communicate with English words..

The characters can be any of the following (will add more along the way if ideas are presented) :
- gray wolf
- American bison
- mountain lion
- bighorn sheep
- bald eagle
- rabbit
- chipmunk
- squirrel
- elk
- whitetailed deer
- Canadian lynx
- moose

Sex: Male
Species + Appearance:
A large male gray wolf with strong legs and a vicious bite. His fur is a smoky
dark black shade and the pupils of his eyes are contracted; the irises are a dark
golden-like color. Though he is able to overpower many things with his strength, he
does have a flaw and that not being able to run very fast.

Name: Amber
Sex: Female
Species + Appearance:
Beautiful dark gray fur with bright white dapples on the coat, and bright
watchful blue eyes. She is a Canadian lynx, usually hibernating during the winter
seasons and coming out during the summer.

On the slopes of tall mountains there were thin whispers of north winds blowing, carrying the smell of
damp grass and morning dew. It was the smell of summer finally coming back after an eventful and deadly
winter that had held onto Yellowstone for so long. Near the edges of flat grasslands, there was a big
black-furred wolf prowling on huge paws toward the smell of a rabbit not too far from where it was. Since
the wind was blowing in its direction, he could easily pick up the animal's smell with his powerful nose sense.
After long days of walking on its own, the animal couldn't wait until it had something to eat and was
desperate to find the exact location of the rabbit.
Its yellow eyes were dark and menacing looking, and the contracted pupils flashed to-and-fro quickly
in hopes to find the animal it was smelling. At the pace it was going, it wouldn't take too long
until his huge paws worked their way into the rabbit's destination area.

Name:Murabi
Sex: Female
Species and Appearance: Murabi is a Mountain Lion/ Cougar. She obtains the pelt of a sandy hue, with distinct black markings from her tear duct down to her muzzle and around her ears/tail tip. She has one bright golden eye, while the other is missing. Her ears are tattered with cuts and missing pieces of skin.

THE BEGINNING...
The sky was kissed with light as the sun rose from it’s slumber, sneaking out from behind the peaks of the mountain tops. The warmth of summer crept nearer and nearer, melting away the cold and deadness of the fall/winter. A mountain lion by the name of Murabi prowled the mountains of Yellowstone Park, her eye scanning the land and her ears alert with awareness. Unhinging her jaw, she inhaled the scent of a wolf that lingered near by, perhaps scavenging for food. Narrowing her gaze, the large feline prowled near the scent of wolf, as her tail balanced her while she stalked. Perching herself upon a cliff side of the mountain, she lifted her body up and exposed her chest to show authority. Her voice boomed massively as she spotted the wolf. “And what are you doing on my land?”
